Bees, flowers, and David Attenborough ☀️
THURSDAY | 4.30.26

Someone grab the candles. Sir David Attenborough turns 100 on May 8th. To celebrate, we're thinking everyone who regularly reads this Afternoon Delight newsletter should meet up and go bird-watching. Then we realized that 80,000 people walking around a nature trail together might be a little off from Sir David's intentions. So we did the next best thing: the gang here has spent the past several months creating The David Attenborough Issue. It's a special thing that is being shipped out this week. The guy from Titanic is involved, there's a number of sloths and whales and frogs and otters, there's friends of David, a field guide from Antarctica, an ode to Dr. Jane Goodall, and lots of things. Score your copy here, or feel free to make a point to pause and check out the bees and flowers the next time you're on a walk. Staying curious on a Thursday in April.
Planting 33,000 trees to save them all.
The Wildest Frontier
We took a dive with our friends at NOAA for The David Attenborough Issue to explore some of the most biologically rich places in the country. Hint: They’re underwater.
Laura in Flow
In case you missed it: Laura Rubin on her flowstate and why more people should make a career out of journaling. Big thanks for coming down to Flow Miami and showing us how it’s done, Ms. Laura.
