Legal didn't love the idea of placing a fake parking ticket on everyone's car in every major metropolitan area city in the world today, only to find out it had an inspiring message on it instead. So we went with Option B: An April Fools’ Day history lesson. True story. A long, long time ago, the head honchos in France decided a new calendar was in order. Apparently changing the definition of a year wasn’t a big deal back then. The old calendar year, which Julius Caesar previously decided began on April 1st, was to be replaced with the one we all live by now, with day numero 1 being January 1st. But the news of this change took a while to spread. So half of the people started the calendar year on January 1st, while the other half stuck with April 1st. And the office secretaries probably cried themselves to sleep for the next 500 years until people got with the program. What we have now is an entire day dedicated to spaghetti trees, whoopee cushions, and that time Alex Trebek and Pat Sajak switched shows. And that, Sally, is comedy on a Friday.

Running of the Rexes
Time to dust off the ‘ole T. rex costume and start training for next year’s race.

Your first thought while watching this video of a whale dolphin might be that the robots have figured out April Fools’ Day. Rest assured, whale dolphins are real.
Special Arrangements
Edible Arrangements is finally leaning into its name. Might want to double-check the “special brownie surprise” in your cart for Mother’s Day.
