Iced tea, extra lemon ☀️
THURSDAY | 4.2.26

Napkins on the lap. Clap clap clap. We have an announcement to make, and we’re going to try really hard not to spill our iced tea. The Flow Photo Contest presented by Kodak is back, Jack. Technically, it’s not back until Monday, but if we’re not ready to go by now, then we have no business hosting what is arguably the greatest photo contest on the planet. New categories. New judges. $50,000 big ones. And maybe most important: A portion of all entry fees will be donated to quality organizations like Surfrider Foundation, Hi, How Are You Project, charity: water, Music Farming, and Re:wild. Them’s the rules. You can start gathering intel on the judges and all the other important details right here. If you’re grasping for straws in our iced tea on what to submit, and that rocket launch or full moon you took yesterday just isn’t sitting right, check out the old Flow Trip Instagram for some inspiration. Adding some sugar and lemon, and we’re on our way. Picture-taking devices at the ready. Starts this Monday and goes until April 24th. More good things on a Wednesday in April.
Wednesday, April 8th. Join Laura Rubin at Flow Brickell to celebrate her new book, The Big Unlock, and explore the simple act of writing things down. RSVP here.

Hang ‘Em Up
Nice things to hang on your walls. A few prints we admire from the winners of last year’s Photo Contest, framed and ready to hang for that redecorating you’re always talking about with the help of our pals over at Framebridge. Join the anti-bare walls club.
Capturing History
Four astronauts beamed up into space yesterday evening. In case the aliens interfered with your satellite, here’s a look at a handful of iconic photos from the launch.
A Trip Down Nostalgia Lane
Last year, we took a trip down memory lane with Kodak with an ode to the Super 8 in honor of its 60th birthday. Another round of applause for the camera that shaped the archives of our lives.
Other Good News & Happenings
Something to watch. Turning the camera around with Nat Geo.
