Canned cranberry sauce does 89% of its annual sales in a 30-day period. That's about 70 million cans of the jelly-like goodness sold in November and December each year. With each can rocking about 200 cranberries, please turn to anyone from Wisconsin or Massachusetts at the dinner table this week and tell 'em "thank you," as most, if not all, of the cranberries grown come from those states. We'd also like to give a special thank you to Mr. Marcus Urann, who is the inventor of canned cranberry sauce and one of the founders of Ocean Spray, the number-one seller of canned cranberry sauce. Does Ocean Spray have a playlist they play for all of their factory workers the week of Thanksgiving? We're not sure but we made one anyway.
