Sara Niksic, an international marine biologist, has spent most of her life studying the songs of humpback whales. It seems she took her work home with her because Sara has taken her hobby of DJing and mixing in whale songs. So far, she’s released three albums — we cannot confirm what percentage split of sales she provides the whales. What we do know is that Sara’s goal of showcasing the complexity of whale songs and highlighting how intelligent and advanced these gentle giants truly are is being learned on dance floors around the world.
