Maybe you’ve seen a whale in person. Or maybe the closest you’ve gotten is Fudgie the Whale. If you fall into the second category, we’re hoping we can help change that. And if you find yourself in the first, maybe we can help you chase that feeling of seeing a gentle giant in the flesh all over again. Before your imagination runs wild, we are not able to transport a whale into your backyard swimming pool for you to spend the day with. But you’re on the right track. We would like to send you and a friend to Montauk, New York on an all-expense paid trip from September 5th to 7th, 2025 to witness the majesty of whales, all in celebration of The Whale Issue of The Flow Trip, coming out in September. Which also happens to be peak whale watching season in those parts — almost like we planned that. All you have to do is subscribe to The Flow Trip mag at this little link right here before August 3rd at 11:59:59 p.m., and your name is in the hat, Sally. You might even strike a deal and convince a friend or two to join the club to up your chances. Wouldn't that be nice? Easy peasy. Fudgie would be proud. (P.S. If you're already a subscriber, you're automatically entered into the giveaway.)
How whales got to space. Just read it, we promise.

A Very Real Whale Festival
Someone recently told us to look up the Des Moines Whale Fest, and we’re still trying to figure out the joke. In the meantime, the Dana Point Festival of Whales is very real and gearing up for another year, come 2026, to celebrate and honor our cetacean friends.
